About me

Fitness has long been a passion of mine since I was a child. As a competitive figure skater, I learned from a young age the value of hard work, discipline, and what the body is capable of once the mind is convinced.

I learned your mind will always give up before your body. I learned the power of perseverance; that the blissful moments come in waves between pain and the will to quit. I learned that showing up is about progress, not perfection, and the only way out is through.

I learned these lessons and more through my youth and into adulthood as I navigated adversities in my life and felt grounded in the knowledge that I am strong. Showing up everyday in pursuit of your goals, even & especially when you don’t feel like it, is a daily practice of willpower. Every workout feels like a mental deposit into my bank account measuring my values. How aligned am I? Am I pushing myself by 1%? Am I taking the extra mile for myself? You can overcome anything.

Naturally, as life ebbs and flows, you remember all the deposits you made to take care of yourself every day, and suddenly, your mind finds so many reasons to feel lighter.

Life can be heavy, that’s why I lift…
